The Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) has launched an investigation into the fatal shooting of Rex Kanyike Masai during anti-Finance Bill protests in Nairobi. The incident occurred on Moi Avenue and involved a man firing at protesters. IPOA is coordinating with Masai’s family and documenting injuries to protesters and police officers.
