President William Ruto has taken steps to assist Muguka farmers following transportation and sale bans in Mombasa, Kilifi, and Taita Taveta. Meeting with Embu County leaders, Ruto confirmed Muguka as a scheduled crop, allocated Ksh500 million, and urged for consultative meetings on implementation of new regulations. The President emphasized enhancing farming, aggregation, grading, pricing, packaging, and value addition of the crop.
